It's also a good buy seroquel xr online idea to bring along a photographer to capture the memories. Here are some of them:

Fashion Designs by Von Monica Couture

April 30th, 2012 4 comments

Monica Fraser, the head designer of Von Monica Couture, contacted me to photograph two of her designs. I had previously photographed her beautiful peacock motif collection, and love her work. Each piece is hand-made, meticulously designed, one-of-a-kind clothing. There's a story behind each one — the fabric, the inspiration and the work that goes into each detail.

Danyella Angel was gorgeous in the leopard print top, black dress and makeup by Kym Davidson. A special thanks to Mika of  The Studio By Mika Does Makeup for hosting us during the makeup and hair styling!

It was a pleasure to work with such talented people. We were also fortunate to have a beautiful Spring day - a rarity in April in rainy Vancouver!

Here are some photos from a boudoir shoot that I did with Maggie. The photos were going to be her Valentine’s Day gift for her boyfriend, so couldn't blog about the shoot before Valentine's Day! Maggie brought a couple bags of rose petals, which was a really great idea.

Here is Part 2 of the Harajuku-inspired fashion shoot that I did in December.

Harajuku fashion originates from Japan and gets its name https://www.sihspune.org/proscar.php from the Harajuku station in Tokyo, advice which is popular place to find many types of street styles, collectively called Harajuku fashion. The styles usually include colourful and crazy hairstyles, makeup and outfits.

For this shoot, I teamed up with makeup artist Mika, stylist JoAnna Keller and model Laurel. We had a lot of fun with the creative makeup and styling as you can see in photos below!

Check out Part 1:  Ganguro Fashion Shoot.

Ganguro Fashion Photoshoot

January 2nd, 2012 2 comments

Ganguro is a pretty unusual style from Japan. The look involves dark tan makeup, blond or orange hair, black eyeliner, false eyelashes with white around the eyes and on the nose, and white lipstick. There's usually also jewels and stickers added to the makeup. The clothing is very bright and colourful. The style started in the 1990's and was influenced by the dark tanned blond look from Camlifornia, but taken to an extreme! Ganguro is one of many street styles from Japan, and can be seen in Harajuku and Shibuyu, Tokyo.

Here are some photos of model Kristy with ganguro makeup by Mika Does Makeup. The outfits were provided by stylist Joanna Keller. Kristy was perfect for the shoot and is very familiar with the Harajuku fashion scene. The makeup was also perfect and the outfits put together by Joanna were great. The shoot was a lot of fun!

We did a couple more Harajuku inspired looks, which I will post soon!

If you are interested in trying the ganguro look, here is a very good tutorial on YouTube:

4 Cinemagraph Portraits

August 30th, 2011 No comments

Cinemagraphs are a combination of video and still photography, visit web thumb usually more of a photograph with some motion. The term cinemagraph was coined by Jamie Beck and Kevin Berg. Cinemagraphs are actually animated gifs, no rx which have been around for a long time, but they have a cinematic quality and retain the feel of a photograph.

A photographer friend of mine, Jenny Chen, was visting Vancouver so we decided to collaborate on a photoshoot and use the opportunity to try to create some cinemagraphs. It was the first time either of us had tried this. I followed an excellent video tutorial, which demonstrates how to create cinemagraphs using Photoshop CS5 Extended.

Here are 4 cinemagraphs from that shoot:

Oksana and Scarlett – Glitter Makeup Photoshoot

Here are some photos featuring glitter eye makeup by makeup artist Tessa Mitz, and models Oksana Bach and ScarlettS. We started the shoot in the studio using a couple different hand painted muslin backgrounds. One was a European-looking village scene and the other was a moonlit beach. I wasn't sure if these would look too cheesy, but I think they worked and gave a different https://www.glenerinpharmacy.com/buy-cipro-online/ look than a seamless paper background.  I'm always interested in different ideas for studio backgrounds!

After the studio session, we moved to a small Vancouver park to finish the shoot. A lot of my photography is done in the studio, so it was great to have the opportunity to do an outdoor location shoot with natural light.

Here's a slideshow with Scarlett's photos:

The music for both the videos is by Remote Spaces from the "Silo" album.

South Asian Bride

A couple of my photoshoots were featured by AAINA – South Asian Bridal Beauty and Style in a post that included photography and information from my collabrations with model Amisha Sampat, designer Carma Creations, makeup and hair styling by Makeup Royale and Isha Paneswar, and fashion styling by Gurjit Parmar.

From the post:

Vancouver Fashion Photographer, Lloyd K. Barnes, recently collaborated with some Vancouver Area South Asian Makeup Artists and Stylists to put together a fashion https://caricole.com/prednisone-online/ shoot which I think contains some pretty cool concepts for bridal inspiration.  By working with different vendors, he's managed to create a number of different looks and styles.  Check out his Flickr Set featuring model Amisha Sampat for more pictures.  Each Image is unique and equally inspiring.  There's something here for every style of bride, and I think it's a perfect demonstration of how a different makeup style can completely switch up your look, from classic to anti-bride."

Thank you AAINA for featuring our work!
